Keep Australia Beautiful.

My Inside Story

Well this was a bit of a challenge set by our illustrious mentor, the man in question has been doing some weird and wonderful things with images now for a while and well I actually get what Christian was on about when he said try and take an image that no one can see.

Well now I bet your thinking what the hell am I going on about right well yeah yeah you can see bins so where am I heading well I will tell you a story about this image ok.

The bins to me resemble people on this beautiful little Island they love there little piece of country and they want to look after it so there resembles one piece of the image, the tap that some may have seen already resemble’s the amber liquid of life and underneath the tap is dry hard dirt which resembles the dry country that we are living in which also means that life is precious which is also one great reason for looking after our beautiful country so our grand children can see what we can see, last of all is the beam of light shining on the three bins resembling that this is where hero’s are born keeping our country beautiful.

So next time your out taking an image stop and think about what you are looking at why you are looking at it and see if you can see something no one else can.

Hope you have enjoyed this image and the meaning behind what I can see in it.

Shot with my trusty D3S 24-70 f2.8 lens.

Cheers for taking the time to look at my blog.

  1. Your a tripper mate but bloody funny
I’ve got my first rotto image up
Didn’t come away with much well not something I feel warrants posting other than a few abstracts but will see

    • Hey mate yeah I though you would get a laugh out of it I hope CF gets the chance to read it, better to be a tripper than a pose I guess with nothing better to do bahaha yeah I got some pretty good inspiration the other day eh mate 🙂

  2. Mate I totally get your message. See photography doesn’t always have to be about pretty landscapes. There is a place for all sorts of stuff. A yep from me, Maybe just darken it a little, Bins look a little hot!
Looking again I see it representing the modern family, shit in shit out, endlessly consuming, becoming overweight but still having a purpose! Deep!!

    • Cheers CF was nice to see you drop buy mate every time I look at this image I see something else you and Tony really opened up my mind the other day and it has really taken my photography in leaps forward so I would also like to thank you for that also mate.
Oh and cheers for dropping buy to mate but where was my invite for the bin shoot ;).
